I had a great week, full of ups and downs just as normal, but also just as normal the good out-weighed the bad!!! Christmas here feels like just another day, but I guess that is good, and a tender mercy, because my whole life I have seen it as THE BEST DAY EVER, and I realized that I don't have to wait for a holiday to celebrate Jesus Christ or to have the best day ever, I can have that every day!!!
I had a Christmas Miracle, and it came on a day that was SO hot. We were tracting our area, and we were out for about 4 hours in the blasting heat when we finally were a few steps away from our flat, and this car pulled up, I walked over to see if they needed anything and this man said "I have seen you guys walking around in this hot weather, and I thought I could bring you an Ice Block (popsicle)." I just looked at him and tears started to flow. I said thank you SO much, and he says I know that you go around sharing goodness, so I thought I could do the same to you!!! He said his name was Chris, and that he is from the Rise Church, another Christian Church here in Hamilton. I walked away that day KNOWING that there is goodness in the world, and if we think there isn't maybe that can start with us sharing more goodness and I promise in return we will receive so much more!!! WHAT a Tender Mercy I received that day, I felt so happy!!!
Well that is all I will share over email, but I AM SO EXCITED TO SKYPE. MERRY CHRISTMAS to each of you, you really are amazing, and I am so grateful to have a family like you!!! I do miss you all a lot, and sometimes it hits me, but when I just take a step back I truly see that Heavenly Father takes much better care of you than I ever could. I can't thank you enough for all the Christmas/Birthday gifts and cards, it was WAY more than I needed but I so appreciate all of it. I LOVE YOU!!!
